ترجمہ: اللہ یہ نہیں کر سکتا تھا کہ نا پاک کو پاک سے الگ کیے بغیر مسلمانوں کو اُسی طرح چھوڑ دے، جس طرح تم تھے، اور نہ یہ اللہ کا طریقہ ہے کہ تمہیں غیب پر مطلع کردے، بلکہ اللہ اپنے رسولوں میں سے جس کو چاہتا ہے، منتخب کر لیتا ہے، اس لیے اللہ اور اُس کے رسول پر ایمان رکھو اور اگر تم ایمان اور تقوی اختیار کرو گے تو تمہارے لیے بہت بڑا اجر ہے۔ (سورہ آل عمران ۱۷۹)
نبوت میں سے کوئی چیز باقی نہیں رہی، صرف بشارت دینے والی باتیں رہ گئی ہیں۔ عرض کیا گیا: وہ بشارت دینے والی باتیں کیا ہیں؟ فرمایا: اچھا خواب۔

Does the ayah of the Qur’an above contradict this Hadith since “mubashshirat” (بشارت دینے والی باتیں) are a form of ilm al-ghayb? I know what Ghamidi Sahab’s stance on this hadith is, but Mubashshirat is still a sort of ilm al-ghayb.

The Ghaib foretold in a dream comes true to become a metaphysical fact. But Ghaib told to the prophet about the metaphysical world stays Ghaib until we will be resurrected in the next life to witness it.
Secondly, the Ghab told to the prophet, which becomes a metaphysical reality later, it is definite and entails no interpretation. However, when something Ghaib told to the prophet in his dream, even his dream needs interpretation. For example, the dream of the prophet that he was performing umarah with his companions did not come true as the prophet and his companions were expecting, on their first attempt to visit kaabah, and the treaty of Hudabiya took place, but it came true next year.
To conclude, true dreams are indefinite until translated into reality. They have a kind of Ghaib but the ghaib revealed through wahi is of a different kind that what is meant by the verse.
