The Concept Of Ghosts And Spirits And Azrail (as)
Asselamu aleykum,
I have heard that, the ruh or soul of a person is taken by angel after death and then it never comes back to this world again, then which thing rests here, as ‘badruh’? There are numerous witnessing of persons who have claimed to see the spirits of dead people in this world either somewhere else or in the place of where they died.
And I have also heard that Azrail (as) takes our souls out. But, as a single angel how he can takes a bunch of human beings in a single time as many people dies in a single second?Kindly clarify, as I am a bit skeptical about it.

Apart from humans, we have Jinns here too and people who might encounter them named them a spirit or bad spirit. From the Quran, we know that there are many angels who do this job.
