I have a couple of questions about the solution offered by Ustaz Ghamidi Sahib on the Israel-Palestine conflict. Here’s the video where he discussed in detail the whole issue and its background and offered the solution. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9EnNckQRmNE&t=4190s

    1) He said Palestinians need peace at any cost to buy some time to rebuild, and then he mentioned the three areas where they have to work. My question is, if the militant activities are put to a halt (by Hamas), will it buy the peace and time needed for the Palestinians to rebuild?

    2) Why would the Israeli government allow the rebuild, given the fact they control even what food enters Palestine?

    3) What’s the ground situation in West Bank? If Hamas doesn’t control the entire West Bank, Palestinians are still being kicked out. Why?

1). It can serve as a first step in buying time and peace for rebuilding a nation. A resisting voice only becomes effective when there is unity in a nation represented by an elected leadership. Buying peace can give Palestinians time to have a unified leadership to represent them. Even Jihad, if it ever comes to it, can only be initiated when there is a proper leadership in place which is running affairs of the country as a proper State.

2). Even if they do not allow to rebuild, then at least they would not have any excuse to bomb without any boundaries and kill innocent civilians. The current attack by Hamas provoked them to a point which made them blind to even basic humanity. At least such provocations can be avoided through these means and nation can spend time in education and rebuilding itself. This would just be a start, other confidence building measures can be done with time (from both sides) which would further de-escalate the tensions.

3). Once Muslims stand on high ethical grounds, not only will divine help show for them, but the collective conscience of the world will also stand in their favour, which if not immediately, but with time will foster more and more support against illegal settlements of Israelis. Even today, those illegal settlements are not recognized internationally.
