Hadith That Soon People Will Reject Hadith And Will Only Rely On Quran
“The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Lo! Soon a Hadith from me will be conveyed to a man, while he is reclining on his couch, and he says: ‘Between us and you is Allah’s Book. So whatever we find in it that is lawful, we consider lawful, and whatever we find in it that is unlawful, we consider it unlawful.’ Indeed whatever the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) made unlawful, it is the same as what Allah made unlawful.” (Tirmidhi 2664)
If it’s authentic then why is the Prophet ‘warning’ us about it, is it wrong to believe (about Quran) what is described as an example in that Hadith? especially when it comes to lawful and unlawful.
Please clarify!

According to Quran, it is only Allah alone who has the competence and jurisdiction to declare anything haram. Pls see 6:150:
6:150 Say, “Bring forth your witnesses who bear witness that God has forbidden this.” If they bear witness, then do not bear witness with them, nor follow the desires of those who deny Our signs, and those who do not acknowledge the Hereafter; and they make equals with their Lord!
Moreover, Allah admonished the Prophet peace be upon him clarifying that the Prophet was not delegated this authority:
66:1 O you prophet, why do you prohibit what God has made lawful for you, seeking to please your wives? God is Forgiver, Compassionate.
The narration being in material contradiction to Quran is fabricated. It is an attempt by Satan to deviate believers away from Quran.
