Choosing A Spouse Based On Akhira
What qualities should one be looking for in someone to be his/her spouse for ease in life and a better akhira?
One could choose someone who is not very committed in Islam but is good looking which could make life difficult in one aspect but easy in another aspect that he or she will not have to look at na mahram and to avoid illegal sex. And also that spouse could be made a better Muslim through influence and earn good deeds
Or one could choose someone who is highly committed in Islam but is not that good looking, which comes with its own challenges.
Or someone who is both good looking and highly committed in Islam
My question is which one could be the best for one’s akhira?

This is your personal choice. It has no bearing on your being a good Muslim. If there is no big objection to someone’s morality, then the choice is not hard. We live in a world of probabilities. A not-so-religious person can turn religious and one who is may turn irreligious. All we do is try to be good and conscious Muslims.
