  Hudood Laws In The Modern Times

  Assalamualaikum!

  Can the Hudood laws as described in the Holy Quran, be amended with changing time and age?

  Is this argument valid that Allah swt ordered such punishments in regard to the customs and available means of controlling crime in that particular era of Arabs?
