To realize that you are the servant of God makes you humble. Whatever you are given is the grant of God for which you will be answerable to God for.

    1. **Reflect on the Quranic Verses and Hadiths about Humility**: – The Quran and Hadith are filled with teachings that emphasize humility. For instance, Allah says in the Quran, “And the servants of the Most Merciful are those who walk upon the earth easily, and when the ignorant address them [harshly], they say [words of] peace,” (Quran 25:63). Reflecting on such verses can inspire humility.
    2. **Acknowledge Your Limitations and Dependence on Allah**: – Recognize that Allah is the source of all knowledge and power. Understanding our own limitations and the fact that everything we have is from Allah can help in nurturing humility.
    3. **Regular Supplication for Humility**: – Make dua (supplication) to Allah to grant you humility and protect you from arrogance. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) taught us to seek refuge in Allah from the evils of our souls and the bad results of our deeds.
    4. **Engage in Self-Accountability**: – Regularly assess your actions and intentions. The practice of Muhasaba, or self-accountability, involves reflecting on your behavior and thoughts each day to ensure they align with Islamic teachings on humility.
    5. **Serve Others**: – Engage in acts of service and charity. Helping those in need and serving others without expecting anything in return can foster humility. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) emphasized the importance of serving others and being kind and gentle.
    6. **Spend Time in the Company of the Humble**: – Surround yourself with people who embody humility. Their behavior can serve as a model for you. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was the epitome of humility, and his companions followed suit.
    7. **Learn and Teach**: – Seek knowledge for the sake of Allah and teach it to others. Acknowledge that no matter how much you learn, there is always more to know. Teaching others can also be a humbling experience.
    8. **Practice Modesty and Simplicity**: – Adopt a lifestyle that avoids extravagance. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) led a simple and modest life, which is a model for Muslims.
    9. **Admit Mistakes and Seek Forgiveness**: – When you err, admit your mistakes, apologize to those affected, and seek forgiveness from Allah. Acknowledging your errors is a sign of humility.
    10. **Engage in Regular Worship and Remembrance of Allah**: – Regular prayer (Salah), reading the Quran, and Dhikr (remembrance of Allah) keep one grounded and constantly remind a person of their need for Allah, fostering a sense of humility.
Humility is a trait that takes time to develop and requires constant effort. By integrating these steps into your daily life and sincerely asking Allah for guidance, you can cultivate humility in accordance with the teachings of the Quran and Sunnah.

Achieving Pinnacle of Morality should be our ultimate goal and with this goal in mind, continuous self-accountability should also be employed. Humbleness comes as a necessary by-product of this process.
