    Bismillahir Rahman Rahim

Before moving further with the question, please share the authenticity of Sahih Muslim 179c – The Book of Faith.

Sahih Muslim 179c – The Book of Faith says, “‘Allah does not sleep’ and ‘His veil is light, and if he were to remove it, the splendour of his face would burn all of his creation, as far as his sight reaches’.”

The hadith says that if Allah were to remove the veil, the glory of his face would burn all of his creation. Therefore, Allah is willingly limiting his power to prevent the destruction of all his creations; key words, “willingly limiting.”

Now with the same logic, is it not possible that God can willingly limit his power to come down in the form of a human? Logically, God can do this in the context of this hadith. Would love to hear your answer.

Yes, God can do that. He has all the powers, but He has told us, that He did not, so no one is supposed to say on His behalf that He did that.

Where does Allah say that he did not limit his power to become a God in human form?

What one can do is not what one did. If God has not told us what He did, we have no source to know what He did.

God has told us that He did not share any of his attributes with anyone else. Nothing is like unto Him. Those who claim God has done so, have no certificate from God. This is but a blatant lie.

While negating the stance of the Christians that God incarnated Himself into Jesus, and the other stance that Jesus is God, God said it is Kufr: See 5: 72-74 and onwards
