    Assalamualaikum!

I was listening to 23 question series wherein Ghamidi Saheb has allowed the use of credit card with the consideration that it is only penalty that is charged for not returning the due amount on due date.

If that is how simple it is, then every money lender will regard the interest that he wants on the given loan as a penality that he is charging, won’t they?

Currently no money lender is doing that. Interest (Riba) is demand of profit on loan, a practice which current money lendeing business is following. Credit Card however is different in nature, they only charge interest on retail transactions when a person is unable to pay within the due date of payment. The current money lending business is not working on this model. If someone actually starts following this model in the future, then the objection of Riba will be lifted.

Taking interest on a given loan is Haram because it is explicit exploitation. Everyone, including Ghamidi saheb agree on it.

As per the shared clip, penality for not being able to return the loan is not interest, and hence not exploitation. How so!???
