Quran About Spending Too Much Time On Entertainment Such As TV
Is there an ayah in the Quran that tells us to not spend too much time on entertainment such as TV, gaming etc? What if one is having hard time leaving these things, how strict is it to follow this ayah like is it a recommendation or a commandment?

It is an ethical issue. Entertainment is not forbidden but spending too much time on it is not good, one knows it. The Quran has told us not to indulge in laghw:
قَدۡ اَفۡلَحَ الۡمُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ ۙ﴿۱﴾ الَّذِیۡنَ ہُمۡ فِیۡ صَلَاتِہِمۡ خٰشِعُوۡنَ ۙ﴿۲﴾ وَ الَّذِیۡنَ ہُمۡ عَنِ اللَّغۡوِ مُعۡرِضُوۡنَThose believers succeeded who show humility in their prayer, who desist from frivolity (23: 1-13)
