my question is that if someone who earns Haram money without usurping anyone’s right. like selling alcohol and pork as his only income. later that man gives gifts to some person. would it be Haram for this person to receive and use the gift given by that person? and if this money is transferred to inheritance, is it halal for his son’s to use? some scholars say that since this money doesn’t belong to someone, it was Haram to earner because of the Haram channel for earning, but once inheritance is done the person receiving money is receiving it through halal channel on his end. would it be halal for him to use the gift or inheritance?
