    The Quran has made it clear that gender interaction is not prohibited because it has given a set of manners for gender interaction. There would be no need for manners if gender interaction was not allowed. Gender interaction never ceased in society under the holy prophet.     The rules and protocols for the wives of the prophet were different, not applied to the common women.
