They are not all alike. Among the people of the Book there is a party who stand by their covenant; they recite the Word of God in the hours of night and prostrate themselves before Him. They believe in God and the Last Day, and enjoin good and forbid evil, and hasten to vie with one another in good works. And these are among the righteous.” (3:113)

In this verse they believe in God this belief is about one true God or the trinity God is also accepted?

I meant when God refers to Christians and says that those who believe in God does it refers to one true God and not the trinity or such verses also accepts trinity God?

O People of the Scripture, do not commit excess in your religion or say about Allah except the truth. The Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, was but a messenger of Allah and His word which He directed to Mary and a soul [created at a command] from Him. So believe in Allah and His messengers. And do not say, “Three”; desist – it is better for you. Indeed, Allah is but one God. Exalted is He above having a son. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And sufficient is Allah as Disposer of affairs. (Qur’an 4:171)

As for those Christians who believe in Trinity and are not convinced that they are committing Shirk then you can find the answer in the linked post above.

But Allah said shirk won’t be forgiven then why Allah will give them excuse

Because Allah does whatever He wants. If they were honestly mistaken about their sins, and if there is room for forgiveness, Allah is indeed Forgiving.

As for those bound for misery, they will be in the Fire, where they will be sighing and gasping, staying there forever, as long as the heavens and the earth will endure, unless your Lord wills otherwise. Surely your Lord does whatever He wants. (Qur’an 11-106-107)

And ‘If Allah touches you with harm, none can undo it except Him. And if He intends good for you, none can stop His bounty. He grants it to whoever He wills of His servants. And He is the All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.’ (Qur’an 10:107)

He is not questioned about what He does, but they will be questioned. (Qur’an 21:23)

He able to do whatever He wills. (Qur’an 85:16)

Quran 3:113 when seen in context is talking about Jews and not Christians.

Wherever the Quran mentions belief of christians in one God and they will be succeeded hereafter does it refers to one true God belief or belief in trinity is also accepted?
