  Surah Ban Isra’il Paragraph #1: is there an evidence from Poetry or other sources of the times of prophet that the word “ALAQSA” mean farther? or far away place. Ustaz Javed Ghamidi has translated this as ” US DOOR KEE MUSJID”

  Yes, all Classical Arabic dictionaries attest to that. The root is: ق ص ا. Please see Lisan al-Arab (Arabic), page 365, Dict. and Glos of Quran by Penrice, page 120, or any other classical dictionary.
