There is no defined method of moving into a new home in Sharia. However, one may perform 2 rakah of Salah and make dua for Aafiyat and then move in. One may also opt to say any good prayer while entering the house and also recite general prayer of entering a house which is reported from Prophet Muhammad (sws) (Although the chain of the narration is weak but there is nothing objectionable in the wordings of the Prayer, rather the wording seems very good. Therefore it can be used as a prayer):

    اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ خَيْرَ الْمَوْلِجِ وَخَيْرَ الْمَخْرَجِ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ وَلَجْنَا وَبِسْمِ اللَّهِ خَرَجْنَا وَعَلَى اللَّهِ رَبِّنَا تَوَكَّلْنَا

Allahumma inni as-aluka khairal-mauliji wa khairal-makhraji bismillahi walajna wa bismillahi kharajna wa ‘ala Rabbina tawakkalna

“O Allah, I ask You the good of entering this home and leaving it. In the name of Allah – we enter, and in the name of Allah – do we leave. And in Allah, our Lord, do we rely upon”.

Some other general practices reported from Prophet MUhammad (sws) may also be adopted:

When the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saw something that he liked, he would say: “Al-hamdu Lillah illadhi bi ni’matihi tatimmu’l-salihat (Praise be to Allah by Whose grace good deeds are completed).”

It was narrated from Jabir ibn Abd-Allah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: “When a man enters his house, and mentions Allah, may He be glorified and exalted, when he enters and when he eats, the shaytan says: ‘You have no place to stay and no dinner.’ But if he enters and does not mention Allah when he enters, the shaytan says, ‘You have found a place to stay.’ And if he does not mention Allah when he eats, he says: ‘You have found a place to stay and dinner.’” (Source: https://sunnah.com/muslim:2018a)

Among the ways in which you may seek protection for your new house from the evil eye and destructive envy is to say: “U’idhuka bi kalimat-Allah il-tammah min kulli shaytanin wa hammah wa min kulli ‘aynin lammah (I seek refuge for you in the perfect words of Allah from every devil and poisonous reptile, and from every envious evil eye).” (Source: https://sunnah.com/bukhari:3371)

    – The Sunnah encourages reading Surah al-Baqarah (and it is better if this recitation is done with understanding): Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Do not make your houses into graves, for the Shaytan flees from a house in which Surat al-Baqarah is recited.” (Source: https://sunnah.com/muslim:780)
