How many minimum rakats one must say in each prayer?. Please guide. Currently I only say fardh rakat.

Must is only Fard prayer. The rest is Nafl, which is often referred to as Sunnat, but it is actually nafal. Nafal prayer is optional and one should add it with Fard to earn more pleasure of God. The holy prophet used to say 2 rakat nafal prayer with every fard prayer.

This mean that even in Isha prayer, the three rakat witr is optional. Please confirm.
