Salam,
I am working at remote job as work from home and designated as individual contractor. I arranged my laptop, internet and working facilities by myself. Now please guide if 5% Zakat is applicable in this case or 10%.
I was paying 10% when was working in regular on-desk job where company was providing working facilities.

5 percent zakat is on savings once a year, not on assets of personal use.
You have to pay 10 percent zakat on the income if it is taxable. The taxes paid are counted as zakat.
