    1. Is water enough to remove impurity? For Example, washing clothes with only water? Or after using toilet can I only use water to clean hands or I must use soap? I’m asking this because whenever I touch something impure, I tend to wash hands three or more times.

    2. What does Islam say about transfer of impurity. Whenever I try to resist my OCD thoughts, the next thoughts that come to mind are to do with transfer of impurity. For example, if I have doubt that my clothes or body has impurity on it, I will think that it will transfer to everything I or my clothes come in contact with.

Water is usually enough to wash an impurity, if it is hard one then some other measures are adopted.

The best way to get rid of such thoughts is to ignore them. Unless an impurity comes into the notice one is not obliged to remove it.
