Responding to your Question Regarding Slavery
Before coming to the topic remember
1) We should believe the Quran is words of Allaah if we disbelieve in a single verse we are Kafir
2) Allaah is Al hakeem (The All wise)
3) Something we may not understand it because we lack knowledge. We have to gain knowledge from the Quran and the Sunnah(also what Sahabas did) and the Imams who explain from it.
Slavery in Islam:
CHARACTER TOWARDS SLAVES:
Do good to whom your right hand possess.
(Quran 4:36)

Prophet never beat anyone neither a women nor a Slave

Don’t treat slaves badly.

Whoever slaps a slave who didn’t commit any crime then the master must release him free
(Muslim 1657b)
MAJOR RIGHTS OF SLAVES
Haram Major Sin If a master lies that his slave is commiting illegal sexual intercourse and if the slave is innocent [not committed it]

Whoever kills a slave for unjust reason should be killed If a slave is mutilated the person who committed that act should also be mutilated

Your slaves are your brothers Allah has placed them in your hand should feed the slaves with what the master eats dress him with what the master dresses with [the quality] and do not burden them if so then help them to finish the work

FORGIVING SLAVES FOR THEIR MISTAKES
Someone asked how often should he forgive a slave Prophet replied forgive slave seventy times daily
(Sunan Abi Dawud 5164)
IMPORTANT RIGHTS OF SLAVES
Should not call a slave as slave rather My man My woman and the slave should call Master (Sayyid)
(Sunan Abi Dawud 4975)
If the slave has prepared food in heat and smoke master should make the slave sit along with him and make him eat if the food seems to run short he should spare some portion for him.
(Muslim 1663)
Slaves should be treated good do not punish what Allah has created

Mother and her child should not be separated Companions of the Prophet never separated even son and the father and brothers

PROSTITUTION OF SLAVES IS PROHIBITED
Should not force a slave to commit prostitution
Quran 24:33
This verse was revealed when Abdullah bin Ubayy forced a slave-girl to prostitution (Muslim 3029a)
He was a Hypocrite (Muslim 2400a)
FREEING SLAVES:
If a slave wants to be freed and he is good person then it is a must to release the slave if he is good by preparing a contract (we can pay them off using Zakath money)
Quran 24:33
Tafsir:
[This was revealed about Huwaytib Ibn ‘Abd al-‘Uzza who refused to agree to give one of his slaves a chance to buy out his freedom. (And such of your slaves as seek a writing (of emancipation)) to buy out their freedom, Abbas – Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs ]
Recommended to free slaves by grace or through ransom

Islam did not initiate slavery to prescribe its regulations. It was already there. and the slaves had no right to exercise in the matter of his sale and purchase and in the case of slave girls her consent for physical contact was not sought. Islam just told them to treat them well and set them free. It also stopped making news slaves and introduced the law of makatabat which gives the key of freedom in the hands of slaves. A head of Zakat was allocated for this purpose.
