I want to ask if Prophet Muhammad saw had the knowledge of unseen? If No, then what about the prophecies mentioned in the books of hadiths?

The prophets are told and they are made to observe certain facts of unseen that belongs to their duty as a prophet. They see angels, receive revelation talk to God. They are told about some events near the doomsday.
Apart from the requirements of their job as a prophet they do not know everything unseen.

So, it can be said the Prophets had the knowledge of unseen but according to their restricted jurisdiction.
