1.wether it is permissible to stand for someone to receive them when the visit us or not??

Similarly there are many other occasions in which we do stand for others like for our elders when they enter the room , for our teacher, for guests, for friends etc because in islam it is not allowed as our prophet did not like it also He has asked His companions to not to stand up for Him..But there is hadith in which prophet PBUH ask the people to stand for their leader( saad bin maaz)..also there is hadith in which prophet asked the companions to not standup for him as it is the tradition of non arabs and these were the last ten 10 days of prophets life when He ordered this one..

2.and some people say that as this order of not standing was in the last days of prophet’s life so this is of the most importance as compared to the previous ones, is this true?
