asking for someone. if somebody had an impure talk to a decent girl in the friendship they had and they got beyond the limits in the calls. They had such conversation for a few days and later her father died. The girl is in great stress, heartbroken and depressed, thinking this happened because she sinned, and one of the great blessings (her father) has taken away from her because of her act.

Seeing this, the person (the guy) is now in great sadness and stress too thinking he had done a big wrong thing.

    Questions are:

    a) is the girl right about thinking in that way like thinking her father died and taken away from her because of she sinned?

    b) also, what will be the process of tauba in this for both girl and boy?

should girl think that she is not pure anymore?

    c) how can the boy compensate in this matter?

    d) in this whole scenario, what are major sins that both the parties should be worried about?

    Jazak ALLAH

    (a) Humans can not confirm or deny this as we have no way of knowing. God take trials, punishes and rewards too. Only God knows truth.

    (b) Sincere repentance and not to repeat such acts again.

    (c) It has to be decided by the person according to situation

    (d) Zina is the main sin. If it has been committed then they should worry about every act that led to it.

    A) Let’s say we don’t know but her father was actually died because she got into such talks or things on calls like showing herself, then will it be considered a grave sin? Like her father died? And if that’s the case, will it be a sin of taking one’s life on both boy and girl?

Showing bodyparts is sinful too. But not as serious as zina as it is is ultimate crime.

If I understood correctly, u mean to say father couldnt handle the stress of knowing this info.

İ will request @Irfan76 sb to give his scholarly opinion

No, the father didn’t know anything about such act. He was all good and healthy, and suddenly died when she was in university. The girl’s saying whenever she made mistakes or did something bad, she got punished in some ways. She now thinks she lost her father because she did such act and that is making her depress so bad. This caused the male despair too as he is having mixed feeling that whether he become a cause for her father loss.

Further, I want to know is it somewhere in our religion that life/person can be taken away as a punishment for any such act?

Some warnings are made by God but no one can be sure that a happening like death of a person is the made to punish him or her. To decide to end a man’s death may have other reasons and seems unlikely for a sim like this.

God has made it clear that a sincere repentance can remove the sin. He has told that if major sins are avoided He gives the minor sins. Since the actual sin of zina is not done these initial sins are forgiveable.

Greater punishments are awaiting if sins are not avoided.

@irfan76 ok and just for the sake of example, even if this was a punishment or say it happened because she sinned and bcz of that her father died, will the Gunnah of katal/taking one’s life will be on the boy and girl? Or is it kind of a weham/unnecessary thinking?

Also, showing some body parts or involving in such talks would take away one’s purity? Or repentance on these acts still makes them pure for their future spouse?

It is overthinking. God has grater concerns and wisdom to decide to end a life. If such things had causes death there would have been there would be a few people alive.

Nothing can take away forever one’s purity. This concept is alien to Islam. Repentance should be made to clean one self from the impurity of sins.
