    Respected Dr. Shehzad Saleem

    I read your article which was actually answer to a question about arabic verses in Salat.

    1 thing which I am somewhat confused is that you did not say about reciting “at-Tahiyyat” and “durood” which we usually read in qa’dah.

    So does it mean that it is okay not to recite “at-Tahiyyat” and “durood“ in qa’dah. If it is correct then can we recite anything in qa’dah.

    Tashahhud (Al Tahayyat) and Durood are not specified, however, the prophet recommended Tashahhud and taught Durood at the request of a companion for Qadah. One is allowed to make as many supplications here as one wants.
