In this Hadith it says whoever increases or asks for an increase in the paying back of gold or silver etc, it is interest. What would this mean for paying interest?

In this Hadith tattooers, and those who ask for tattoos are the same. The same language is used for those who charge interest and ‘موكله’. Doesn’t it make sense for this to mean the one who pays it in the flow of the Hadith?

As for this Hadith I think it’s more a collection of multiple (but please do confirm) sayings than one sitting. So the word موكل would still mean the facilitators not borrowers

The Hadith about استزاد still remains however

The narrator in these narrations is not just quoting the prophet but mentioning that the prophet cursed or condemned certain things and he compiled a list.

It is also likely that the narrators mistook Mukil as the one who asks for riba.
