God has made us responsible for our good and bad deeds. When we show persistence in good deeds He helps us for further good. Therefore we thank Him for giving us all the things we require to do a good deed and for helping us for further good.
And [there the rule is that] he who does evil shall be recompensed equally; but he who does a virtuous deed, whether he is a man or a woman and is also a true believer, then it is these people who shall enter Paradise where they shall receive immeasurable sustenance. (40: 40)
[Give glad tidings to My servants, O Prophet:] Those who are bearing difficulties for Our cause, We shall definitely guide them to Our ways [95] and undoubtedly God is with those who act in a thorough manner. (29: 69)
