    I don’t see how that could be a good thing (in terms of Akhirah) – after all you are giving “charity” after you are gone – it kind of is irrelevant whether it goes to your heirs or a beggar – in the sense that you never were going to use that money, so pretty easy to be charitable. Real charity is when you sacrifice your own wants/needs and recognize that society has a right to your wealth as well.

    In this case all you did was give away money that belonged to your heirs actually – as Allah has determined their portions in your inheritance.

    How does Ghamidi sahab see this trend?

    Your heirs have right on you. Your wealth is their right after your death. Now it is their test to use it for good. If you have trained them well it becomes a continuous source of Swab for you.
