Significance Of Duaa'S When Uttered In Arabic
I’m not referring to the Qur’anic Duaa’s, but rather other Duaa’s that people often share (“to read”) in specific scenarios, including dua e istekhara and Dua qunoot (nazila), travel, many Sunnat Duaa’s, even including those that we say in tashahhud: Does it automatically gain more impact and significance if said in “Arabic” ?
If yes, why? Allah (swt) understands all languages, and prophets and Muslims before Muhammad (saw) made Duas in their native language.
If no, then why is there such massive focus in Pakistan to memorize them in Arabic and utter exactly as is, often people don’t know it’s translations, what made Arabic (a language) a part of religion when the only reason Qur’an was revealed in Arabic was so that people could understand.

The essence of Dua is to ask from your God what you need. There is no restriction to make dua in Arabic. In one’s own language, one feels more ease and it directly comes from one’s heart. However, the Arabic duas are dear to Muslims when they think that the prophet did the same and it contains the manners and wisdom of how to make a dua.
