Assalamualaikum. My question is that I heard from Ghamidi Sahab that seeking hardship in worship is not required. Therefore, if repeatedly removing socks is troublesome, then you should wash your feet once, put on socks, and then wipe over them during prayers. My question is regarding the washbasin in our office, which is placed at a high level. I need to take a stool to wash my feet, otherwise they don’t reach the water. There’s no other place where I can fill water and wash my feet. I don’t usually wear socks; I mostly wear sandals. Can I wipe over my feet, or should I wear socks?”
