According to van putten the manuscript evidence shows hafs recitation in vocalised manuscripts is rare until recently and his reading has many non hijazi/qureshi features what is the response to this?

Qirat Amma which is termed as Qirat hafs is a wide spread recitation since centuries. The exegetes, jurists have been quoting it. The people have been reciting it in daily prayers, memorising the same. No one ever reported that there was some discrepancies here or there.

Errors in preparing a copy were noticed and rejected as we do now.

Thai living practice cannot be nullified by finding error in some copies or in the difference of script which evolved over time.

If researcher has to report from all the avenues islamic disciples to prove that Hafs qirat was adopted later and before that some other recitations were in practice.

But the qureshi never reported that the other readings were incorrect?

Sahaba did not adopt other readings. That is enough evidence to tell how they rate them.

But all the famous reciters have isnads going back to the sahaba like nafi he’s in a chain back to the companion?

No chain goes back to Sahabah in with authenticity. Dr Shehzad Saleem has investigated all the narrations in his book The History of Quran. Some recitors did Ijtihad in recitations, and some adopted them. Some interpretive additions from Sahabah were taken as additional words or recitations. But there is nothing that confirms that Sahabah used to recite the quran with these variations.
