On a freelancing platform site, when signing up, one has to agree to their policy. In their policy, they don’t allow the freelancer to work outside their platform with the client that freelancer found on that platform. They take a 10% commission on every project a freelancer finishes.

The freelancer starts working outside their platform with the client that he/she found there to avoid the fees.

After sometime the freelancer realizes the sin of breaking the agreement. What is to be done in this case? Does the freelancer have to pay the fees that he could have if he worked on the platform? Or is it just getting back to the agreement enough?

According to the agreement the freelancer should give 10 percent commission to the website. God has ordained the fulfillment of agreements.

Is this the same as stealing?

It is a violation of the agreement. A kind of deception.
