Ghamidi sahib told that a man will be asked about the knowledge Allah has granted him in this world. Suppose A man is born as a muslim by nature but he is raised as a christian or something else. Will he be asked about that why he didn’t become a muslim? And what about the questions and answers in qabr? Non muslims will be unable to question these answers. Will they be asked the same questions as muslims?
Ghamidi Sahab comments on a Hadith about people in time of Messenger and what they were asked in the grave, summary is that angels will come and present the image of Messenger that was among them (in this case Prophet (PBUH) ) and ask them, who is he and what do you think about him? A true Muslim will bear witness that he is the Messenger of God and angels will commend him. If he was not a true Muslim (e.g in Hadith, a Munafiq), he will not know the image of Messenger of God and will be confused until angels will tell him the truth and he will then give an answer, then angels will give him the news of Hell.
So questioning may be similar to this for everyone. Everyone might be shown somethings in grave and angels will ask questions. It can be qiyas from this that Muslims will recognize the Messenger and say that he is their prophet, non-Muslims will be confused and give no response until angels will reveal the truth, Kafir will recognize the Messenger probably and tell them that he was their enemy that they mocked and rejected and so on. It will be recorded.
Another understanding is this below video where for people beyond Messenger’s time, they will be asked general questions like what was your religion, where you came from etc. And it will be stored. It is a qiyas that angels might show them things and note their reactions to it like e.g image of Messengers just like in the Hadith above even for people beyond Messenger’s time.
