Where do we find good scholars of islam who are not extremist. I follow javaid sahab but everyone says hes too liberal and not actually a scholar. Every time i listen to this it cause me extreme anxiety because I personally feel that he is a blessing to the muslim ummah.how should I convince myself that he infact is an actual scholar and not someone who has made islam liberal

Only the strength of the argument should be considered supreme in determining what is correct, not personal perceptions or biases. Listen to all arguments and make your own decision. If there are opposing views, listen to their arguments as well, then analyze and decide accordingly.
