Assalamoalaikum Brothers,
Does a wet dream invalidate fast? On a similar note, can one start fasting in a state of impurity after the wet dream?

Involuntary actions do not invalidate fast.
It is fine to keep fast in a state of impurity. It is however required for prayer.

JazakAllah for adding details. Makes total sense to at least clean oneself from Nijasah before starting a fast and then do Ghusl later before Salaat like Prophet Muhammad PBUH did.
