  • Punishment For Sins Committed Under Violation Of Sadd-e-Zaria Prohibitions

Where does the idea that I see prevalent in the farahi school of thought that sadde Zaria injunctions might not be punishable if they don’t lead to sin come from? I don’t mean sadde zariya acts that are of our own judgment ( like grey areas that might lead to something bad or not) but the ones established in Hadith. For example I read Ghamidi sahab said that Khalwat with a na mahram is a sin but might not be punishable if it doesn’t lead to zina. Wouldn’t a sin in the sight of Allah automatically mean it is punishable?

This concept emanates from various Quranic verses (4:31, 42:37, 53:32) and certain ahadith also supporting this principle.

Sir but what about sadde zariya injunctions mentioned in Quran . Like for example, knocking and asking for permission before entering residences, it seems to be a matter of etiquette ( something that could prevent sin like bothering someone or seeing someone inappropriately dressed ). Would that too be minor sin then?

      Yes, minor sins.

However, a conscious Muslims never violates any commandment of Allah intentionally, whether a Sadd-e-Zariya requirement or otherwise.

But if such a mishap happens for a Sadd-e-Zariya requirement, then it will result in a minor sin.

Ok but what if someone repeatedly violates sadde Zaria …. Would that be tantamount to sarkashi (rebellion). I guess what I’m saying is; can minor sins also lead to sarkashi ( which will lead to hell). A similar question in my head is: it would seem to me that different sects can accuse each other of kufr because of differences in relatively minor things . Can kufr be about smaller things( hypothetically let’s say, the timing of prayers ) as well as major beliefs ( such as belief in oneness of God and the finality of the Prophet SAW). I hope I’m not breaching the code of conduct by posing a separate question but they sound kind of similar in my head.
