Please can anyone provide me a link where our beloved Ustaad Javed Ahmed Ghamidi saheb dealt this subject in detail. Is talafi is required or a mere forgiveness from Allah Swt is sufficient after one shunning the sin . Is it not infringement in others rights. If it’s so how one can obtain talafi .

In case of an Unmarried person: It’s Talafi is seeking sincere forgiveness from the Almighty as long as the matter is between the person and the Al-Mighty but with a sincere intention of not indulging in this sin ever again. However, if one is indicted of this crime at state level then the person would be punished and will not be allowed to marry a Pure Muslim Lady as second form of punishment. Since here the usurpation of rights relate to society as a whole on the principles of Sadd-e-Zariya, so the form of forgiveness is also linked with indictment of the crime at societal level.
In case of an Married person: It is a clear violation of ther rights of the spouse hence forgiveness of that person would also be subject to the forgiveness granted by the spouse in addition to forgiveness sought from the God. The matter of punishment would stay the same as mentioned above.
