The She camel’s coming out of the mountain is nowhere in Islamic sources. I have heard it is mentioned in Israeli traditions.
According to Ghamdi Sb, Saleh a.s nominated one of his camel.

How is this changing of ajl? it was a last chance / ultimatum which was given to every nation before final azab.

What was the ultimatum? What if they didn’t kill the camel? What would’ve happened then? That’s what I don’t get

Prophet would’ve continued Dawah or migrated until the camel died of natural causes and then the final azab.
