I don’t remember the exact ayah, maybe someone can help me- but I remember the gist being that they ask you for a miracle but you cannot give one except by the permission of God.
How does this statement hold value if God then split the moon?
Why weren’t the quraysh shown miracles like previous nations? Was the quran enough of a miracle?

Discussion 37404In surah Qamar, the wording are like the the hours (qiyamet) has come and moon split in two. So ghamdi sb argues htat it was as a sign of qiyamat not a miracle.
Btw malabar raja reporting of event is not certain as a quick search shows that its more of a legend.For your last 2 question, I am also waiting for a response
