I read on page 72 in which someone(Jew) in Madinah tried to make a serious and filthy fun of a Muslim woman and a Muslim man came and killed that person.I don’t have much knowledge of Ahadees,so please you can check it and also read it in Arabic (Ibn e Hasham),but if that is true,a person took law in his hands and we don’t get in book that if Prophet SAW did say anything about it,(you can read the whole story),so if that is true doing qiyas on that if a person takes law in these type of situations in his hand,is it then true(or maybe i didn’t understand this(law taking in hands)thing in the right way?
Ahadith and/or separate incidents and individual reports are not a source of any law because of certain inherent limitations with their nature of transmission, they are to be understood in the light of Quran and Sunnah.

Having said that, there were a few of such incidents reported in History where it appears that some people were killed by Muslims by taking law in their own hand, however, this is not the case. When seen in the light of Quran, there was a stage in Prophet’s (Sws) Dawah, where after itmam-e-hujjah on people of the book, their blood was declared Mubah, and some of those narrations were miscontrued by traditional scholars as punishment of Blasphemy.
