Experience tells that Human Beings do not have a trouble taking care of themselves both in physical and financial domains. Our decisions, for the most part, are based on well being of ourselves. But Islam does recognize this fact that our body has a right on us, and in addition to this fact being mentioned in Hadith, suicide has been declared Haram in Islam on the very principle. However, when it comes to interaction with other humans, most of our transgressions happen in that domain because of our wishes, whims, emotions, prejudice and sexual inclinations. And it is this very domain of human interaction which gives rise to ethical circle as well. Therefore, the focus of religion is on achieving Tazkia to which our transgressions with other human beings act as a biggest hurdle in achieving that objective.
