Entertainment Containing Themes Not In Conjunction With Islamic Believe

Many entertainment franchises are out there in the form of movies, tv serials and games and especially young people from around the world enjoy them mainly because of elements of characters and storyline.
However many if these series have elements which seem not to be in conjunction with Islamic belief. For example in some game franchises there are characters who are various gods like the god of thunder, fire water etc. When one of these franchises made it’s way into Saudi Arabia they had replaced the god title with king. So the gods of thunder fire etc were referred to kings of thunder fire etc.
Other series have elements featuring concepts like reincarnation or a concept of an afterlife in which good and bad souls are in conflict too etc. And then we have a very popular franchise called Assassin’s Creed which is also popular amongst Muslims too and also has Muslims and middle eastern people as a part of their dev team. In the lore of Assassin’s Creed story we see that an intelligent precursor civilization was responsible for engineering humans who eventually went extinct and were replaced by humans. it turns out that the gods and goddesses of the pagan religions were actually members of this advanced civilization and that miracles in the past such as Jesus turning water into wine (I know we Muslims don’t believe in this) and red sea parting was a result of fragments of highly advanced technology that civilization left behind. Also Adam and eve are also depicted as being hybrids if humans and this civilization and running away from a facility of this civilization after stealing one of these technology fragments called the apple of Eden. However even though that franchise does play around with the beliefs of real religions, they did not take Islamic doctrines and directly do the same with them and they have a notice at the beginning of each game stating “inspired by historical events and characters. This work of fiction was designed, developed and produced by a multicultural team of various religions and faiths”.
My question is that as Muslims is it okay to indulge in these franchises just for entertainment in their story lines and characters while being mindful that the elements of their story and context will not affect our belief? After all none of these are per day banned in Muslims countries as well.

Where Ghamidi Sahab talks about acting, and how if a Muslim even plays the role of a shirk-related character, it wouldn’t matter if the purpose of media is purely entertainment. However if the purpose of a media is to promote something evil (which Assassin Creed or any major franchise we know doesn’t do at all) then it becomes questionable. Indulging in anything purely for entertainment purposes is fine, adopting something as a belief system like Shirk is what is actually forbidden, not entertainment.
As for seeing elements of Shirk, one should just be mindful of them as in case of PUBG video, it is advisable to avoid these things as much as one can but seeing elements of Shirk isn’t forbidden as long as one isn’t being influenced by them: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xvsEasCPRBU

Okay so it’s fine to watch something like dragon ball Z for the story, characters and fight scenes as that anime has been made for entertainment only. But not the same scenario when it comes to maybe those Indian made Hindu religious serials which are about explicitly about their gods who are glorified and praised in them as Hinduism is very much a real world religion and those gods are revered by Hindus in the real world.
