One Rakah Of Witr Salah?
How many minimum rakah of salah is enjoined in witr?
I am aware that it is supposed to be odd-number upto 11 but the quandary is whether 1 rakah can suffice for witr?
The basis for this assertion is a hadith in which the Prophet purportedly said “The night prayer is two by two and witr is one rakah at end of night”, Muslim, 752.
