Masturbation
My question is this that could a person do Jamat as a imam if he is doing sins?
Not as a Imam of Mosque but at a time when there are few persons ( take it about 7-10) and every other person is refusing or denying that leave Jamat and pray alone, but a One of them knowing the importance of jamat makes them agree to pray in Congregation. So could he go for it not knowing that he is sinful, knowing that he is not 100% good, knowing that he masturbates sometimes. But also he is fighting against Nafs but fall victims sometimes also of Shaytan.
Could he lead the prayers knowing all this that he is not perfect all time but he wants to fight that sins also.
Kindly elaborate this as detailed as possible.

First of all please understand that there’s no requirement of being sinless in order to lead prayers. Secondly, also know that what’s really prohibited is lewdness and sexual relationships outside of marriage. Masturbation within itself is not a sin. However, one must remain mindful not to get involved in immoral activities that generally surround masturbation. Also as a general rule, if mistakes happen, we should always sincerely repent to Allah as soon as we realize them, and be confident that Allah loves to forgive.

Please clarify your question as to what is not clear in the explanation above. It’s not a practice that has been forbidden by the Quran or prophet Muhammad SAW, hence there are no references for me to share with you.

In Quran 7:33, Allah SWT has stated five broad categories of everything that He has deemed haram. This is of course in addition to dietary restrictions that are mentioned elsewhere in the Quran. I am attaching screenshots of Ghamidi sahab’s translation of 7:33, along with his explanation of fawahish (lewdness).
Quran has no mention of the practice of masturbation, and there’s no hadeeth in my knowledge that comments on this practice either.
I can’t comment on fatwas by other scholars – for that, I’m afraid that you would have to ask them directly.

Dost main apnay aap ko deen mein kisi cheez ke dakhil karne ka ehal nahi samjhta. Iss muamlay mein jo nuqta-e-nazar Ghamidi sahab ka hai, kuch aur ulema ka bhi hai, aur jis ko main khud bhi daleel ki bunyad pe durust samjhta hun, usko main ne aap ke samnay dayanatdari ke sath bayan kar diya. Agar aap isko durust nahi samajhte tow koi aisi baat nahi. Magar jis bunyad pe aap isko ghalat samjhte hein uski darasal koi haqeeqat nahi hai. Aap khud tehqeeq kar ke jaan sakte hein.

Ye aap ki rai ho sakti hai, magar deen kisi ki rai ka naam nahi hai. Khuda ne lazzat hasil karne pe koi pabandi nahi lagaee. Pabandi zina pe hai, aur uss ki bhi wajah hai.
Lazzat tow aap zuban se bhi hasil kartay hein. Agar lazzat hasil karnay pe pabandi hai tow roz dow sookhi roti kha ke guzara kyun nahi kartay? Lazzat tow kaaba ka tawaf karnay aur Quran ki tilawat sunnay mein bhi hai. Uss pe bhi pabandi laga di jaye?

Ji faraq sirif zehniyat ka ka hai – ilmi aur aqali lihaz se inn mein koi faraq nahi hai.
Apni baat ko kisi bhi ilmi ya aqali buniyad pe sabit kijiye ya phir khuda aur us ke rasool ki koi sanad pesh kijiye. Kisi baat ko obvious aur illogical keh ke radd kar dena bazat e khud aik ghair ilmi rawaiya hai.
Khuda ka deen muhkam buniyadon pe qaim hai. Us mein baat daleel ke sath sabit hoti hai – aapki ya meri rai se nahi. Deen ko us ki buniyadon se samjhne ki koshish kijiye. Yeh wo zehniyat hai jis ki wajah se hamare mulk ke beshtar nojawan aaj zina jaisay baday guhnah ka shikar hotay hein. Iss ko tabdeel kijiye aur apne deen ko khwamukha mein mushkil bana kar logon ko baday gunahon pe majboor karne se bachiye.
Ibn-e-Hazam is kaam ko bilkul jaiz qarar detay hein aur deegar sahaba ki isnad pesh karte hein. Hanafi maktab e fikar mein iss kaam ko zina se bachne ki soorat mein jaiz qarar diya jata hai. Kuch ulema jaiz se aagay zaroori qarar detay hein. Deegar makatab e fikar iss kaam ko shohar aur biwi aik doosray ke liye karein tow jaiz qarar detay hein. Mein aur bohot se nuqat is baray mein daleel ke taur pe pesh kar sakta hun, magar umeed hai ke nuqta wazeh ho gaya hoga.
Meri hidayat ki dua ke liye bohot shukriya – Allah SWT aapki ki dua ko qubool farmaye.
Aakhri baat ye ke iss forum pe jin pichli interactions ka aap ne hawala diya wo interactions mere sath nahi theen – aapko yahan bhi ghalati lagi hai.

If not then It is very baseless and illogical to say that masturbation is permissible because the bases of this act are some triggering acts.-

Masturbation is a sin and it is haram . Now i am giving evidences for its prohibition . First of all Allah says in the holy quran surah al mominoon ch 23 verse 5-7 that “And those who guard their private parts excepts with their wives and slave girls than there is no blame upon them but anyone who seeks beyount that is transgression.” Many great scholars like imam al shafi implicate from this ayah that masturbation is also prohibited as its excluded from wives and slave girls. And yes the meaning of this ayah is than fulfilling sexual by any other way other than marriage is prohibited wheather its fornication homosexualtiy aur masturbation. This is the view of imam shafi and imam malik and imam abu hanifa and majority of scholars there are also some ahadith that condemn masturbation but they are daeef ahadith. Here below i have shared some pics from rasai wa masail of Molana maududi jild 2 page 155 ownwars where he has given evidences of its prohibition and the opinon of molana maududi is also given . Further there also some opinons like of ibn abbas and ata bin abi raba given in pics below ref is musannaf abdur razak and sunnan al kubra al bayhaki . Masturbation is thus prohibited in islam and some consider it makruh but majority considers it as prohibited and haram. Most important as reported in sahih bukhar holy prophet s.a.w told us how to control sexual desires and he told young people to get married or observe fast and the exact content of the hadith is given in the picture below.And even many othe members of Al mawrid also consider masturbation as loathsome and makruh act like mr rafi mufti and mr talib mohsin and dr khalid zaheer and tariq mahmood hashmi and the evidence ill give in next comment .hence try to avoid masturbation and porn .

Masturbation is prohibited in Islam but M Shahan Abbas there is no human being who doesn’t masturbate It is impossible to avoid it completely constantly. I think a person should avoid it the more he can avoid but If after 1 week or 2 week he does this weird act so he should make repentance again and again and this formula of repentance should be applied in his whole life.

Whether masturbation is a sin or not is a separate topic. But how does this “routine” do justice to the meaning behind repentance? How can you be sincere in asking for forgiveness and accepting guilt for your actions if you intend on repeating them? I believe it is better to consider the arguments for and against the prohibition of masturbation and if you still come to the conclusion that it is prohibited, then sincerely try to refrain from the act.

I wrote that a person should avoid as more as he can then if he does so he should repent sincerely but this is reality that one can’t get rid of this in his whole life.

This topic is so much disputed on that it really baffles me too why there is so division.I don’t know any topic that has divided this many opinions amongst scholars.I think it is a duty of every individual to listen to every scholars and see Quran and Hadith and make a conclusion themselves and stick on it.Allah will not punish a misjudgment on your behalf so don’t get confused.Just follow your faraiz and stay away from Major Sins
