While reading book “Purdah” written by Mulana Maududi, a qusetion arose in my mind when makes the menstrual cycle of woman as reason to not let them work in politics and other important administrative tasks, as during this period their ability to comprehend things decline and they undergo major psychological changes which put a strain on the efficiency of overall working system. Is this is a fact and should we only allow our wonams to be housewives and only responsibility they can handle is to bring up a child?
