  • Can Muslim Women Marry A Monotheist

Watched three different videos on question of ‘interfaith marriages in Islam’ in which Ghamidi Sb repeatedly stresses on the concept of tawhid and shirk. He says tahwid and shirk can’t be under one roof. But let’s say if a woman marries an Ahmadi, or Bahai, or a Jew; all of them are strictly monothiests, so would it be permissible?? If we take reference from Quran, the verse on interfaith marriage does not address women directly. But there is a consensus among ulemas that muslim women cannot marry a non muslim man. But these are not the words of God. I want to know had God wanted to address women directly on this matter, He would have revealed it explicitly in Quran, but we don’t see any specific verse regarding this. I just need an opinion on this matter. I know marriage is a social contract and we should seek to find a match with whom we can live in peace and procreate a family on similar ideals.
