Zina is a fahisha and could also be ithm because the child isn’t given a stable upbringing. Yes gambling would fall under the same ruling as alcohol. We have to ask ourselves whether God has forbidden this or shown extreme displeasure towards this act. Terming it filthy work of the devil shows extreme displeasure but does not fit in 7:33 nor does it fall under any other category of haraam.

Also when it is said that alcohol is filthy work from the devil, we are told the devil is an open enemy to us. So to obey the devil once you have been told this is a tool of his is obviously a source of extreme displeasure for God but again- the word haraam is not used when it is used for every single other thing that is called haraam

Prohibitions of categories mentioned in Quran verse 7:33 are in addition to dietary restrictions – they have nothing to do with alcohol. For explanation of this verse please refer to:

When it is already established that something causes displeasure of God and is a filthy evil deed then nothing more need be said – for a God conscious person the prohibition is automatic.

In dietary, God has declared all Khabaais Haram. Alcohol is khabees for being Rijs, which is another word for Khabees, so it is obviously haram.
