    هُوَ الْأَوَّلُ وَالْآخِرُ وَالظَّاهِرُ وَالْبَاطِنُ ۖ وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌ

Humans are also given eternal life it seems. So does this change any implications of this ayah? Because if the ayah implies that he is the only final one then wouldn’t that be an issue? I’m not sure if الآخر with ال implies that he is alone in the end as well

And what does ظاهر وباطن mean? There are so many interpretations.

This doesn’t really answer the question. Does the ayah imply that only allah is al aakhir? Because if so won’t humans also last forever in heaven?

A part of your question was meaning of the words there. Hence question was rephrased to include broader concept.

The key thing is due to lack of our knowledge we cannot understand the God traits with our minds. Also, Afterlife for humans will be eternal. He has discussed this in other video
