Marriage To People Of The Book
Aoa,
According to Ghamidi Sir and his understanding, we can not marry People of the book coz they believe Jesus is God. And hence, because of this difference of religious beliefs, such marriages are not permitted because eventually we have to pass on our religion to our kids that come about from a marriage.
My question is – what about people who are past the age of having kids and are only looking to marry for companionship as old age can get lonely.
If there are no prospect of having kids, can a woman or a man marry from the People of the Book, who might have a different religious opinion, but at the end of the day, are better human beings than any Muslim prospect?!
