Bidat ko islam main bohat condemn kiya gia ha. Quran pak main b isay haraam kaha gia ha. Maira sawaal yeh h k bidat ki definition kia ha.
1. Hmaara rawayti mazhabi tabqa jo examples daita ha woh yeh ha k eid milaad ul nabi, khatam parhna, wafat par kr kul satawan chaleeswan
2. Islam ki nayi tabeer kr daina jaisay siyasi islam, soofiyana islam kia yeh b bidat he ha.

Any practice presented as part of religion but was not established by Prophet Muhammad SAW is a bidah.

Most of the funeral customs practiced now a days in the subcontinent are Biddah (like Qul, Chaleeswan etc.)
Interpretation of a religious text i.e. Quran cannot be classed as Biddah like political interpretation of Islam. Tasawwuf interpretation is not based on Quran primarily.

I don’t think concept of imamat is primarily based on Quran, it is based on some events primarily, and Quran is used to supplement those events and not the other way round.
