Woman As Head Of Family
Salaam, Ghamidi Sahab said rightfully that the Quran has given the burden of protection and financial provision of women to men. So the husband is the head of the family. My question is if a woman is the one who maintains and provides for the family and the husband provides very little or no financial expenditure on the family, or the husband and the wife share the financial responsibility of the family, then will the husband maintain his rights as the Qawwamun. Actually my mother takes care of most of the household expenditure because she earns more than my father. My father contributes as much as he can. All the big decisions in my family are taken through mutual consultation. Is my family an islamic family or something is going wrong?
