From what I have listened from Ghamidhi sahab that we should have highest ikhlaq even with people who hurt us, we should always be good to them as this is a test. My problem is that I distance myself from people who hurt me even if they are family members or distant relatives. However I think cutting relatives from life is what Allah don’t like and we will be questioned about it. How should one build emotional resilience to not be affected by people mean behaviour and still be ready to forgive them and have ties with them without compromising mental health?
